[vsnet-alert 19523] RX Pup, possible start of eruption

Hello,

Speculative at this stage but there is a sudden recent increase in the V
brightness of RX Pup as shown in the table below:

2457399.50	14.47
2457403.50	14.45
2457407.50	14.41
2457415.35	14.39
2457416.50	14.39
2457419.35	14.39
2457427.40	14.38
2457434.45	14.32
2457441.40	14.27
2457442.25	14.24

RX Pup has been steadily fading since more than a decade. This trend was halted
2.5 years ago. 
The recent brightening is minor and possibly not significant or meaningful, but it
could indicate a pending eruption.

Spectral scrutiny might be rewarding...
