This is likely an SU UMa-type dwarf nova, undergoing long and very
short outbursts. Recent examples (from ASAS-SN, ZTF, and Gaia data):
1) 2016 May 23 - June 3
2) 2017 July 30 - August 11
3) 2018 March 13-15
4) 2019 May 29-31
5) 2019 August 13
6) 2020 September 29
#1 and #2 look like superoutbursts, #3-5 like normal outbursts.
Previous outbursts had been recorded on 2003 April 13 (NEAT),
2007 June 5 and 2013 January 22 (both by the Catalina Sky Survey).
