MASTER OT J010603.18-744715.8 discovery
- more then 9 mag amplitude outburst in SMC
MASTER-OAFA auto-detection system (Lipunov et al.,
"MASTER Global Robotic Net", Advances in Astronomy,
2010, 30L) discovered OT source at
(RA, Dec) = 01h 06m 03.18s -74d 47m 15.8s
on 2016-10-14.19341 UT.
The OT magnitude in unfilter is 10.9m (limit 18.3m).
The OT is seen in 3 images. There is no minor planet at
this place. We have reference image without OT on
2016-08-01.21289 UT with unfiltered mlim=18.9m.
There is a GALEX source and USNO-B1 star in 0.9" with
B=20.17, R=20.00
Spectral observations are required.

in the MCPS Catalog (Magellanic Clouds Photometric Survey:
the SMC; Zaritsky+, 2002) as follows:
RA 01 06 03.35, DEC -74 47 15.5 (J2000.0)
V= 20.583, B= 20.445, U= 19.717 mag
