I observed this object in two sessions last night due to passing cloud.  The first for 1hr 30m and the second for 1h 50m.  During this time the object varied by about 13.12 to 13.20 in the first part and from 13.16 to 13.22 in the second.  All observations in V.

A Gaia DR1 star of 19.247 mag with position end figures 58.930s and 05.48" is only 0.1" from the reported position. Further designations for this
(blue) progenitor candidate: USNO-B1.0 1398-0041475,
GSC2.3 NBZ2017198, SDSS J013758.90+495105.4, GALEX J013758.9+495104, AllWISE J013758.86+495106.0

Spectroscopy and time-resolved photometry are urgently required.
