Hi Kris,
Yes, because Luyten's variables are usually 1' off or more.
This one was 1' away. The range as 13.0 - 17.0p, coincident with this star's
range and there was no counterpart at the stated original position.
Usually Luyten's variables are large amplitude miras but there is no red
star nearby this time. Since this one was bright and very active, he seems
to have recorded the whole range in different nights.
Cheers,
Sebastian

Dear Sebastian,
nothing was listed in Vizier, so I assumed this was a new variable.
Best wishes,
Kris
