There is a 16.2 Vmag. constant star 2" to the SW from the reported position
(and a fainter 18th mag. star 2" to the SW of the 16.2 mag. star). If this
is the variable, it was not an outburst because this star is constant in
every catalogue.

If the outbursting object is a background star, the ASAS-SN results will
surely be for the blend of the two objects.
This looks likely due to the small amplitude.
Accurate astrometry is needed!

Cheers,
Sebastian
