Dear colleagues,
I have just concluded the analysis of my 2017, Mar 26/27 unfiltered CCD
photometry session of SDSS J091001.63+164820.0. Observations were made at
CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.40-m /f10.0 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD
camera, under a clear sky. The resulting light curve clearly shows the
presence of superhumps with an amplitude of 0.22 mag. A period analysis
using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined
preliminary superhump period of 0.0737 +/- 0.0004d, hence establishing this
object as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The object was at mag 14.7
(unfiltered).
Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
Best regards
Tonny
