OV Boo: stage B?
Pavol A. Dubovsky, Crimean Astrophys. Obs. team(E.Pavlenko, N. Pit, A. Simon),
Tamas Tordai, Osaka Kyoiku U. team, Domenico Licchelli, Itoh-san, Geoffrey Stone
and Kyoto U. team have reported new observations.
The object is 14.1 V mag now. The eclipses have become more narrow.
The duration of eclipses is about 0.14 phase and the depth is about 0.4 mag.
The superhumps shows complex profiles and the some of peaks are hidden
by eclipses, however the period is almost constant and stage B seems to
continue yet.
This object is a candidate of the Population II (metal-poor) CV. Thus the
behavior of superhumps may be different from ordinary one. Further
observations are encouraged.
