My previous e-mail was based on the fact that there are two records in the
ASAS-SN alert page with the same identifier ASASSN-17ei:

ASASSN-17ei 15:40:59.22 51:26:17.4 2017-03-27.56 17.37
ASASSN-17ei 14:49:53.64 -34:26:10.9 2017-04-1.16 12.81

I am adding the stars to VSX in chronological order so I just found the
first entry which matches the galaxy.

So one of the names should be changed.
I suggest the SN candidate name is the one chosen since there are people
already observing and reporting ASASSN-17ei as the CV.

Cheers,
Sebastian
