PT And: early superhumps?

Pavol A. Dubovsky has reported observations on
two nights (Aug. 17 and 18). There were superhumps
with a full amplitude of 0.05 mag. The period is
0.06063(7) d or 0.05893(7) d (it seems that the
period reported in vsnet-alert 12527 in 2010
can be excluded).
The profile is doubly waved, suggesting that these
modulations are early superhumps (then the object
is classified as a WZ Sge-type dwarf nova).
There remains possibilities: (1) the variations
are special phase of ordinary superhumps, or
(2) the true period is the half (0.0303 d etc).
Further observations are strongly needed to
confirm the identification and true period.
