Dear colleagues,
I have just concluded the analysis of my 2017, Sep 26/27 unfiltered CCD photometry session of ASASSN-13ce. Observations were made at CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera, under a sky that switched from clear to clouds to clear again. The resulting light curve clearly shows the presence of common superhumps with an amplitude of 0.25 mag. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined preliminary superhump period of 0.0749 +/- 0.0003d, hence establishing this object as a new SU UMa type dwarf nova. The object was at mag 16.0 (unfiltered) on Sep 26th.
Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
Best regards
Tonny
