Dear colleagues,

I have just concluded the analysis of my 2017, Nov 28/29 unfiltered CCD photometry session of ASASSN-17px. Observations were made at CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera, under a clear sky. The resulting light curve shows the presence of superhumps with an amplitude of 0.10 mag. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a non-conclusive result. One possible outcome is a superhump period of 0.076 +/- 0.003d, while another possible fit yields a superhump period of 0.092 +/- 0.003d. More observations will be needed to determine the exact period of this new SU UMa type dwarf nova. The object was at mag 15.73 (unfiltered) on Nov 29th.

Observations will be sent to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Best regards
Tonny
