[vsnet-alert 21889] MASTER OT J061904.85+291606.4: new SU UMa type dwarf nova

Dear colleagues,

I have just concluded the analysis of my 2018, Feb 18/19 unfiltered CCD photometry session of MASTER OT J061904.85+291606.4. Observations were made at CBA Belgium Observatory,  using a 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera, under a clear sky . The resulting light curve clearly shows the presence of superhumps with an amplitude of 0.19 mag. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined superhump period of 0.0760 +/- 0.0009d, hence establishing this object as a new SU UMa type dwarf nova. The object was at mag 16.00 (unfiltered) on Feb 18th.  

 

Observations will be sent to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
