[vsnet-alert 22097] ASASSN-18iq past outburst and common proper motion component

ASASSN-18iq was observed by NEAT project (Teegarden et al., 2003;
Pravdo et al., 2005) on 33 nights from 1998 Apr. 22 to 2006 May 30
with a total of 91 images. The object was detected in bright outburst
on three nights in June 2001 and at quiescence on other nights.
Outburst lasted at least 12 days.

I also note that the neighboring red star mentioned by Brian Skiff in
[vsnet-alert 22096] is likely a common proper motion red dwarf. The
separation is 6.5" in SDSS and PanSTARRS. See animation of Red Palomar
