ATLAS system on Hawaii (0.5-m f/2.0 reflector + 10.5x10.5k CCD) has
discovered an outburst of the blue star in Lyra.

The object has further brightened to 13.1m on iTelescope T05 images at
07:55-08:01 UT on May 15th.

Nearby star GSC 03118-00982 with TASS V=13.43 magnitude was used a fererence.

The new variable at quiescence is identical to USNO-B1.0 1278-0372711

R2=20.11 I=N/A
The object was included in Kepler Input Catalog as KIC 2540648.
Gaia position: 18 41 51.065 +37 52 28.97
pmRA=-11.2+/-1.4 pmDE=-18.4+/-1.8 mas/yr Gmag=20.59+/-0.01
PanSTARRS grizy magnitudes:
g=20.49+/-0.04 r=20.51+/-0.04 i=20.67+/-0.02 z=20.46+/-0.07 y=20.33+/-0.14
Thus, the outburst amplitude is about 7 magnitudes. Time-resolved
photometry is encouraged.
