The object is an AM CVn star which has a long orbital period of 46min.
The Pan-STARRS magnitude is g=19.44, so the outburst amplitude is
7 mag. Judging from the large outburst amplitude and the expected low
mass ratio, the object may show a WZ Sge-type superoutburst with
early superhumps. Further observations are strongly encouraged.
