TCP J03005508+1802290 = ASASSN-18abl: WZ Sge-type dwarf nova?

Tonny Vanmunster, Stephen Brincat, Itoh-san, Vihorlat observatory team
(Pavol A. Dubovsky, Tomas Medulka), Sjoerd Dufoer, Sano-san, Suzuki-san,
Geoff Stone, Osaka Kyoiku U. team and Kiyota-san reported observations.

The object shows small but clear modulations with the amplitude of
~0.05 mag and the period of 0.05974(4) d. The modulations seems to be
double-peaked ones, so it suggests the object might be a WZ Sge-type
dwarf nova. However, the color of the object is too red for a WZ Sge-type
dwarf nova. Moreover, the absolute magnitude of the object is 6 mag
in quiescence and this is too bright for a WZ Sge-type dwarf nova.

Further observations are needed to establish the type whether it is
an AM CVn-type or WZ Sge-type one, or not.
