Outburst confirmed. V386 Ser had mag V = 10.88 +/- 0.01 on Jan 19.26 UT (CBA Belgium Observatory, 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope, SBIG STT3200-ME CCD).

Masaru Mukai found an outburst of V386 Ser up to
10.7 mag at Jan. 18.83853 (UT). It was faint on Jan. 17.

The VSX database says V386 Ser is a NL+ZZ/GWLIB type with a magnitude range of 18.9-19.2 mag(V).
