[vsnet-alert 22974] St 2-22 bright outburst

The symbiotic star St 2-22 (Sa 3-22) has recently brightened over 3 magnitudes in V at a rate of over 1V/week. The present magnitude is 13.3V, which is considerably brighter than the peak reached in a previous outburst in 2005. 
After a short standstill the system seems to have resumed a further brightening.
