Dear colleagues,
I have just concluded the analysis of my 2019, Apr 18/19 unfiltered CCD photometry session of MASTER OT J051529.15+560532.0. Observations were made at CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope and SBIG STT-3200ME CCD camera, under clear skies. My observations were triggered by the detection announcement of Maeda Yutaka on vsnet-outburst.
The resulting light curve clearly shows the presence of regular superhumps with an amplitude of 0.20 mag, hence classifying this object as a new SU UMa type dwarf nova. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined superhump period of 0.0716 +/- 0.0019d. The object was at mag 13.65 (CV) on Apr 18th.
I will send my observations to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
Follow-up observations are recommended.
Best regards
Tonny
