Dear colleagues,
I just finished analysing my V-filtered CCD observations of TCP J21040470+4631129, obtained last night (July 23/24, 2019) at CBA Extremadura Observatory using a 0.40-m f/5.1 telescope and SX-46 CCD camera, under clear skies. The light curve shows – for the first time since its current outburst – the appearance of prominent full grown superhumps with an amplitude of 0.14 mag.
A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined superhump period of 0.0552 +/- 0.0002d. The object was at mag 10.95 (V) on Jul 24th.
I will send my observations to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
Follow-up observations are evidently highly recommended.
Best regards
Tonny
