Dear colleagues,

I have just finished the analysis of my unfiltered photometric CCD
observations of ASASSN-19xq, obtained last night (2019, Sep 26/27) at CBA
Extremadura Observatory, using a 0.40-m f/5.1 telescope and SX-46 CCD
camera, under clear skies.

The corresponding light curve shows the presence of two eclipses, with a
depth of at least 1.1 mag. I did not yet calculate the eclipses time of
minimum, which will allow to refine the Min (BJD) ephemeris from
[vsnet-outburst 24123].

During the 3.2 hours timespan of my observing session, the object declined
from mag 15.5 (CV) to 16.5 (CV), which is a very high decline rate. After
subtracting the eclipse features from the light curve, and detrending the
data, the resulting light curve shows irregular modulations with an
amplitude of approx. 0.1 mag, but with no obvious superhump like pattern. A
period analysis using the Lomb-Scargle, PDM and ANOVA methods (Peranso),
also yields no firm result.

Hence, from my observations I am inclined to conclude that the present
outburst may be a normal one.

I will send my observations to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Follow-up observations are highly recommended.

Best regards
Tonny
