Dear colleagues,

I have just concluded the analysis of my 2019, Dec 04/05 and Dec 06/07 unfiltered CCD photometry sessions of Gaia19fit (=AT 2019vxy). Observations were made at CBA Extremadura Observatory, using a 0.40-m f/5.1 telescope and SX-46 CCD camera, under clear skies with moonlight.

The resulting light curve clearly shows the presence of 0.25-mag superhumps, hence establishing Gaia19fit as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined superhump period of 0.0602 +/- 0.0002d. The object was at mag 16.7 (CV) on Dec 07th.

Observations will be sent to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Follow-up observations are recommended to further study the evolution of superhumps in this system.

Best regards
Tonny
