SS Cyg: still bright quiescence

Akazawa-san and Tamas Tordai and some AAVSO observers reported
new observations.  The mean magnitude of SS Cyg in the V band
is ~10.8 mag and that in the Rc band is ~10.7 mag.
I analyzed the data and found that the irradiation effect of the
secondary star
in the Rc-band orbital profile possibly becomes stronger.
However, the amplitude of that component is weak, so the X-ray
irradiation is
not enough to explain the observed increase of the optical flux in
the quiescent state.
The amplitude of the orbital hump slightly decreases, which means that
the disk
becomes brighter than usual.  The optical increase may be caused by
an increase in the viscosity of the accretion disk.
The X-ray flux also keeps rising and SS Cyg seems to still stay in this
anomalous state.
