TCP J09370380+1657350: likely start of ordinary superhumps

Itoh-san, Tonny Vanmunster and Kyoto U. team have reported
more observations. Early superhumps have apparently
disappeared and only low-amplitude modulations
(period still unclear) remained. This is the very signature
of emerging stage A superhumps. Early superhumps were
prominent on initial 3-4 days only.

This short phase of early superhumps appears to common
in many WZ Sge stars with multiple rebrightenings and
this feature makes it difficult to determine the periods of
early superhumps and stage A superhumps (as we have experienced
in EG Cnc in 2018).

TCP J09370380+1657350 was detected and announced
sufficiently early and now we have a good period
of early superhumps. Continous observations will detect
stage A superhumps and help solving the mystery of
the evolutionary state of WZ Sge stars with multiple
rebrightenings.
