The following visual observations were made in January:
RS Oph21-Jan-20210554GMTP(2)V(3)U10.8
RS Oph22-Jan-20210616GMTP(1)V(4)U10.5
RS Oph31-Jan-20210532GMTP(1)V(4)U10.5
RS Oph has been in an elevated state since mid-2017 and during 2020
ranged between 10.1 and 11.0 so no real trend change to report for
January.

I obtained two images this morning of RS Oph using the SLOOH C2
telescope and the C14 at COAST, both located on Tenerife (and
coincidentally at the same time)...
Feb 03.271 10.488V COAST
Feb 03.271 10.018C SLOOH
Checking the BAAVSS & AAVSO databases, there appears to be a slight
increase in V magnitude from 2019-20, but RS Oph shows ~0.5V mean
variation at minimum anyway. Certainly worth following a little more
rigorously over the coming weeks though.
