SS Cyg: standstill state ?

AAVSO alert notice 730 mentions the latest behavior of SS Cyg and
requests photometry and spectroscopy.
Actually, the current behavior is anomalous and the light curve looks
like standstill.  The V-band magnitude is around 10.

I have monitored this source since last May, and do not find
any evidence of increase of mass-transfer rates and strong X-ray
irradiation.  The disk itself would brighten for some reasons.
Further observations are encouraged.
