New variable star near UGC 11800 (CBET 184)
According to CBET 184, a new object was found near UGC 11800
by the KAIT team (M. Baek and W. Li). The object was fainter
than 19mag July 16.36, then, observed at 15.6mag on July 22.35,
15.6mag on July 23.35, and 15.7mag on July 24.40.
The coordinates are R.A. = 21h43m32s.94, Decl. = +46o12'22".2.
The closest object in USNO-A2.0 catalogue is an object with
r=17.7, b-r=1.3, and 4.5" from the above position of the new object.
The closest 2MASS source is 8.7" apart from the new object.
Follow-up observations are encouraged, in particular, spectroscopy
and multicolor-photometry would provide crucial clues for the nature
of the object. Time-series observations would be useful in the case
that the object is a dwarf nova.
