TT Ari: rising stopped!

   The most recent data suggest that the rising trend of TT Ari
has stopped.  CCD observations by Maehara last night even suggests
a further fading.  The recent rising may have been a temporary
phenomenon rather than a step toward full recovery.

   The superhumps have not appeared (Maehara's observations)
while QPOs are still present.
