Dear colleagues,

P. Schmeer reported his detection of a bright outburst of T Leo
as below. The magnitude of 10.0 suggests this to be a superoutburst.
In the 1993 superoutburst, Kato (1999, PASJ, 49, 583) reported
that superhumps were observed already during the precursor of the
superoutburst. A confirmation of this phenomenon is very important
to check the relation between the evolution of the tidal instability
and the existence of the precursor.

Observations in this early phase is strongly encouraged! When
you succeed in time-resolved photometry, please send your precious
data to vsnet-campaign-report at ooruri.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp !

Best regards,
Daisaku Nogami
