VSM 151 : (Electronic Circular) 2005 November 27

Object : 0510-69 Pos. Nova LMC 2005
Position: (2000) 05h10.6m -69 13'
W.Liller has discovered a possible nova in the LMC. The object
was found on two films taken Nov. 26.164 UT using a 0.20m Schmidt
camera and Kodak TP film. The object also appeared to be visible
at 12.8mag on Nov. 22.005, but nothing was seen brighter than mag. 13
on Nov, 20. Magnitude at discovery was 11.5.
The following sequence should be suitable. The possible nova
lies a few arcminutes south of the OB association Lucke-Hodge 33.
