[vsnet-alert 8773] New variable object 2239+30

As of Dec 11 0420UT this new variable appears to be at a new maximum brightness, v=12.9. (A few previous unfiltered CCD observations were slightly brighter). This object has brightened from near v=15 to 12.9 over the past 7 days. Such a light curve so far is unusual for a UG type star, with such a slow outburst rate? Any theories developing as to the nature of this object?
