[vsnet-alert 8869] Optical spectrum of RS Oph

Dear colleagues,

A spectrum of RS Oph currently in outburst was taken by
M. Fujii on Feb. 13.  He commented, "The FWHM of Halpha
was 3300 km/s, which is much broader than in quiescence.
Halpha is in a P Cyg profile.  The series of FeII emission
lines is also strong and broad.  A doubly-peaked emission
feature around 5890A is probably attributable to NaI D."
