The SU UMa-type dwarf nova CI UMa is very likely undergoing
a superoutburst following a precursor outburst on July 11.
No similar outburst (precursor + superoutburst) has been found
in the past record. Time-resolved photometry, especially during
the early stage of the superoutburst (now), is strongly urged
since superhumps can show different period behavior during
a superoutburst with a precursor (cf. Uemura et al. 2005,
A&A 432, 261; astro-ph/0411523)
