Yes, I agree with Sebastian's observation that the apparent decline of RY
Sgr may have stalled. We may now have to wait and see what RY Sgr does in
early September, based on the 39 day cycle. My most recent observation:

More observations are needed during the days to come.
On april 20, 2003, the star experienced a similar decline that stopped at
V=
7.0 and followed the 39 d. period.
