The suspected SU UMa-type dwarf nova Var79 Peg is undergoing
a relatively bright outburst (the likely superoutburst in
2005 Oct. reached mv=13.5). The other outbursts recorded in
this year have been likely normal outbursts. Assuming a typical
supercycle of SU UMa stars, the present outburst would deserve
further time-series photometry in search of potential superhumps.
