[vsnet-alert 9081] New Helium dwarf nova

Dear colleagues,

Prieto et al. reported their discovery of a new Helium dwarf nova (outbursting
AM CVn-type binary) (CBET 692).  The position is 20h 47m 39.40s, +00o 08' 40.3"
(2000.0).  The variable range was found to be r=17.8-20.8 (r=17.8 on Oct. 12,
r=20.8 on Oct. 14, r=18.3 on Oct. 18 and 20, r=20.8 on Oct. 22).  The spectrum
obtained on Oct 19.08 (UT), during outburst, showed a blue continuum with many
shallow absorption lines of He I.
