The short-period (Porb) SU UMa-type dwarf nova MM Hya
is undergoing a relatively bright outburst. The last likely
superoutburst was in 2006 March (mag 14.2).
This object underwent brighter superoutbursts in the past
(2003 June mag 13.2, 2006 March mag 13.0).
These records seem to show relatively strong dispersion of
superoutburst magnitudes, frequently seen in short-Porb
SU UMa-type dwarf novae such as SW UMa.
Time-resolved photometry during the current outburst is also
encouraged.
