[vsnet-alert 9207] EG Cnc

I have received a telephone call from a UK based observer
to say that EG Cnc is in outburst at visual magnitude
11.8 on the evening of Jan 25th.  The AAVSO QL files have 
no observations later than Jan 23.89  There appears to be no
Minor Planets near to the field on this date either.
Confirmation is urgently requested.
