As reported by Rod Stubbings, V893 Sco is undergoing
a very bright outburst!

  YYYYMMDD(UT) mag observer
  20070301.777 14.37V (Hiroyuki Maehara)
  20070312.555 118 (Rod Stubbings)
  20070312.848 13.06V (Hiroyuki Maehara)

Although this object has long been suspected to be
an SU UMa-type dwarf nova, no definite superoutburst has
been recorded yet.

The current outburst may be the first-ever observed
(in real-time; note the discovery report included a number
of bright outbursts) long-awaited superoutburst.
The evolution of brightness by Stubbings and relatively faint
subsequent observation by Maehara-san resembles the early-stage
evolution in the similar high-inclination system V2051 Oph
in 2006 October (cf. vsnet-alert 9071, peaking at mv=11.8).

   Time-resolved photometry is extremely encouraged.
The system has shallow eclipses, which may be apparent during
certain stages of outbursts.
