I managed to observe the star visually over almost 2 hours and found it 
to change quite spectacularly over short periods of time. Please find the 
obtained light curve here:

The little vertical bar shows the second predicted minimum above.
It was actually very tricky to trace its variations because of the short 
time-scales. The first ~30 min was affected by clouds but nevertheless I 
think the star was truly brighter a bit.
Please let me know if someone has simultaneous data - I would be happy to 
compare these estimates.

Instrument: 20 cm Dobsonian at 240x from Revesby, NSW.
