anomalous outburst or superoutburst?

As pointed out by several observers, the current outburst of
BZ UMa is longer than past well-observed outbursts.
This may turn out to be a long-awaited superoutburst, while the
major part of the outburst duration seems to be from the slowly
rising branch. Such slowly rising outbursts (possibly inside-out
outburst?) are rare in short-period systems like BZ UMa.
A few past (normal) outbursts (e.g. 1999 March, mag 10.4) were
as bright as the current one.
