[vsnet-alert 9307] Spectrum of a nova candidate in Sgr

Dear all,

   Fujii-san just informed spectroscopy of the possible nova
in Sgr on CBAT Unconfirmed Observations Page (at 18 10 18.47,
-18 46 52.0).

   The spectrum was dominated by relatively narrow emission
lines of hydrogen and He I.  The object is clearly an
emission-line object in outburst, although its nature is
still unclear.

   Further observations (including multicolor photometry and
time-resolved photometry) are strongly encouraged.
