[vsnet-alert 9413] V5558 Sgr further fading

   V5558 Sgr further fading.  If this fading trend continues,
the current phenomenon may be somewhat dissimilar to the brightness
peak (maximum) of V723 Cas.  The rapid fading following a short
brightness peak may reflect similar underlying mechanism as in
secondary maxima of V1493 Aql (50 d after initial maximum) and
V2362 Cyg (180 d).  In any case, frequent spectroscopic and
multicolor follow-up observations are encouraged.
