[vsnet-alert 9518] V344 Lyr very likely superoutburst

   The current outburst of V344 Lyr is most likely a superoutburst.
Nakajima-san's observation on Aug 28 show brightening trend and
likely superhumps.  The profile of the humps was unusual (slower rise
and faster decline).  These observations may suggest that the
superhumps are just growing now.
The last likely superoutburst was in 2007 May.  If both two outbursts
are confirmed to be genuine superoutbursts, the supercycle is as
short as 101 d (not inconsistent with earlier research).
