V455 And = HS2331+3905 superhumps and eclipses

   On Sep. 17, the eclipses occurred just after superhump maxima.
At this beat phase, the superhumps were observed with sharp peaks
and high amplitudes. The mean superhump period since Sep 15
is 0.05697(1) d, 1.2% longer than the orbital period.
If this period excess is confirmed, the secondary sounds less
likely a brown dwarf as initially claimed.
The above results were based on partial data up to Sep 17;
more data are being processed by Maehara-san and the findings
will be duly updated.

Please keep observing as much as you can!
If you succeed in observing, please report your observations to:
vsnet-campaign-report at ooruri.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp

Important notice:
When reporting observations, please report times of mid-exposures
to 0.00001 d (or better). We recommend to resubmit observations
to those who have reported CCD data following the visual convention
(to 0.001 d). Similarly, report to 0.001 mag (regardless of actual
errors) in order to avoid quantumization noise.
