1RXS J023238.8-371812: brightening?
We have managed to perform short runs for this object
on 30 Sep. and 1 Oct using the KANATA 1.5-m telescope
(observer: A. Arai & R. Matsui).
The V- and J-band light curves indicate a brightening
trend in those two days.
YYYYMMDD(UT) V mag.
20070930.74412 12.92
20071001.80266 12.19

The V-J color is about +0.05, similar to the color of
dwarf novae in outburst. Such a brightening is, however,
atypical for dwarf novae.
The nature of this object is still unclear.
We will keep monitoring of this object, but it is hard
for us to take a long time-series run of this object
here in Hiroshima.
Regards,
M. Uemura, A. Arai, and R. Matsui
on behalf of the KANATA team
