Dear all,
We have performed a preliminary period analysis of the data
following the rapid fade. Most strikingly, the superhump period
during the earlier outburst plateau (usual superhumps) has apparently
disappeared. There are instead two dominant periods of
0.056316(3) d and 0.057288(5) d. The former period is in very
good agreement with the orbital period (0.056309 d).
The latter has a fractional period excess of 1.7%.
The appearance of a stable period slightly (but distinctly) longer
than the superhump period (fractional period excess 1.4%,
vsnet-alert 9605) is extremely similar to what was
observed in GW Lib (cf. [vsnet-alert 9344] and following postings,
http://ooruri.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pipermail/vsnet-alert/2007-May/000966.html ).
The presence of this type of "late superhumps" is thus likely
a common phenomenon in WZ Sge-type stars, at least in WZ Sge-type
stars showing GW Lib-like outbursts.
More detailed analysis is in progress. Please continue observing
this object as long as possible, and report your time-series
observations to vsnet-campaign-report at ooruri.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp .
