1RXS J023238.8-371812 superhumps

We have received three data sets from Peter Nelson, Greg Bolt
and Itoh-san. We have also received other successful reports
of more observations.

The data clearly show regular superhumps(!), which would be
rather unexpected if the object had experienced a typical
WZ Sge-type dip phenomenon. The present state apparently
phenomenologically corresponds to a normal plateau phase of
a superoutburst (possibly following the earlier stage with early
superhumps?).

The best superhump period is 0.06620(1) d, although aliasing
problem still remains due to the limited longitudinal coverage.
However, this period is favored by the single night-long run
by Greg Bolt.

This long superhump period is surprising for such a WZ Sge-type
candidate (as inferred from the outburst amplitude and general
outburst light curve). Clearly we should keep the object at the
top priority (esp for southern observers).

Congratulations to the Pi of the Sky team for discovering and
promptly reporting such an astrophysically important object,
to all observers who reported observations!

If you succeed in making time-series photometry, please report
your observations to:
