Dear colleagues,
We performed a period analysis of the data after the plateau.
PDM period analysis to the data from Sep. 24 to Sep. 30 shows
there are two dominant periods of 0.056327(37) d and 0.057218(37) d.
These periods agree with the periods reported by Kato-san (vsnet-alert 9642).
The former period is in agreement with the orbital period within errors.
The later one is 1.6% longer than the orbital period and slightly longer
than superhump period during the plateau.
On the other hand, PDM period analysis to the data from Oct. 2 to
Oct. 11 shows that there is only one dominant period of 0.056311(22) days
which is equals to the orbital period within errors. This suggests
that late superhumps have disappeared.
V455 And is still 1 mag brighter than quiescence (V=15 on Oct. 12).
Please continue observing this object as long as possible, and report
your time-series data to
vsnet-campaign-report at ooruri.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp .
Best regards,
Hiroyuki Maehara
